Hey everyone, this will be my first Blog post on ROG, and I figured I'd start of with my new video series: Elo Hell Ft. Dorian.

In this series I will try to focus mostly on what everyone should be doing to try and claw your way out from Elo Hell...

Got my account back!

Hey everyone got my account back, only after 2 days. I won't get into any details but thanks to Riot for having a good system in place to deal with this kinda bullshit!

Going to be playing/recording on some smurfs for the next while

So yesterday I queue for some Solo Ranked just to get some LOL games for the day and try to get some youtube recording done, and I pick Udyr because he isn't banned, and then I check to see who is on my team....and the very last pick on my team was none other than... ColbyCheeze the youtube personallity and as well as the NESL or ESL Broadcaster, He played taric and held his own all game.

Funny to see that the guys commentating on high level game play, actually themselves play 1500 Solo Queue...

Either way hes a nice guy and a good player, maybe this does show ELO hell does exist?

League of Legends... A growing e-Sport?

League of Legends has been growing ever since it release its BETA in early 2009. The community of MOBA players who started playing DOTA and were looking for any kind of chance at playing in Tournaments or even be considered an e-Sport.

Almost Immediatly after the release of League of Legends It was announced that It would be a title at the 2010 World Cyber Games Grand Final at Los Angeles.

Team Counter Logic Gaming ended up Winning the WCG 2010 Grand Finals taking down EpikGamer.

Then came the announcement of the 100k Season 1 Championships held by Riot Gaming themselves and held in Jönköping, Sweden, this obviously got the attention of other e-Sports and tournament directors as League of Legends was then picked up by ESL, starting the GO4LOL series, which followed the GO4SC2 touraments which came before it, this gave Teams like CLG, TSM, RS, and before uNR was even officially formed a chance to practice against other top teams In a competitive environment.

Finally came the End to Season 1 Seeing all North American favorites like CLG and TSM and EG return to compete for all the glory and League of Legends top prize the Season 1 Champions. There were also two South East Asia teams, Team Pacific and XAN, these teams were the first to be Knocked out and we were left with only North America vs Europe. European team Includes AAA, game!de, FnaticMSI.

After all was said and done It was an all Europe Final and as FnaticMSI played vs AAA for in the Grand Final, eventually FnaticMSI came out on top as the Season 1 League Of Legends Champions.

A few short weeks after the Season 1 Championship concluded there was a Twitter post by MLG a top e-Sports tournament circuit, that MLG was interested in picking up League of Legends for MLG Raleigh, and most likly the entire season.

Finally e-Sports will have a game to represent the MOBA community on a massive scale, and who knows what this will do to spark even more advertisment for future League of Legends tournaments!

Season One Extended?

So as It stands now Season One is extended until further notice.

Main points include the reset being a soft reset, instead of a full reset back to 1200.

And perhaps Prizes for anyone with a ranking like Silver Gold or Platinum

Building new DESKTOP for streaming!

I am currently looking into building a new desktop computer for streaming so anyone have any idea's on what I should be loooking to get? Or where to look....

Back up to above 1500 ELO, doesn't mean much with the reset coming eventually, but at least I am getting closser and closer to the goal of 2000+.

Playing 1 or 2 Games of LOL vs Playing for hours?

Somtimes I play 1-2 games a night and feel satisfied...and other days I feel I have to play and play and play, maybe its just my compeditive nature!

League of Legends Solo Queue Tips!

Biggest tips I have found to winning and being successful at Solo Ranked Queue in League of Legends are as follows

• Be Nice to your teammates ( easier said than done)
• BUY WARDS
• Try not to go to the bottom lane to push creeps 30+ minutes into the game, the other team will see this and baron accordingly
• If you can't play champions your team expects you to play DON'T! Play something you are comfortable with.
• Try and fill the roles your teammates need.
• Actually try communicating with these kids in Solo Queue ( If you dare)
• Talk trash talk no matter what, it only makes you and them play worse.
• DO NOT HAVE TUNNEL VISION
• DO NOT ATTACK TANKS FIRST (please?)
• Try to have dragon/baron warded as often as possible

These are most of the tips I have found to combat retards, feeders and overall solo queue mentality!

North America Servers DOwn!

North American servers are down, and the patch preview is up!

Servers will be down until 11AM PST or so says riot.

I will try to get to streaming as soon as I can figure out what is happening with my FPS while streaming, could just be the computer!

1410 Rating and CLIMBING!!!

After being trolled, getting noobs, having tough match-ups I am back to 1410 rating on my way trying to get up and up as high as I can.

Sorry to anyone who was trying to watch me stream today, I have been getting some FPS issue's on this laptop I have been using.

Late nite solo queue!

In some late night solo queue! Trying to get up the ladder just incase there is a sott reset, and if not I am trying to get some practice on my LaneWick these days got alot of games in tonite so far back up to 1400+ ELO solo ranked.

Waiting for Season 2 to start as I am sure most people are, I have been trying to practice a bunch of heroes I don't normally play and trying to get back into form, grinding some solo queue.
